REC Communication Template and Related Tools: Proposed Rule for Stage 2 of Meaningful Use of EHRs

On February 23, the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) for Stage 2 meaningful use was posted to the Office of the Federal Register. The proposed rule outlines the next stage of meaningful use for the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Programs, which are administered by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The NPRM can be found here.

As the REC for Alaska we wanted to make you aware of resources available that further explain the proposed Stage 2 rule:

The public will be able to submit comments to the NPRM soon. As your partners in this process, we will be sure to contact you when that 60-day comment period begins.
